A CRM is only as good as the data flowing into it. The interesting work is rarely the UI — it’s the plumbing.
Where revenue leaks#
Most teams lose money in the gaps between systems: an ad platform that never tells the CRM which lead converted, or a checkout that forgets the campaign that brought the customer in.
Closing the loop#
The fix is unglamorous: stable IDs, idempotent syncs, and a single source of truth for “what is a customer.” Once attribution is trustworthy, every downstream decision gets sharper — budgets, segments, follow-ups.
Get the plumbing right and the dashboards take care of themselves.
